In those uncertain times, South Downs Hypnotherapy has had to adapt and find new ways to work and help people. Despite hypnotherapy usually being practiced on a face to face basis, the fact that we use recordings a lot to re-enforce all therapies is proof that the actual physical contact is not always necessary.
Of course, sitting in a private office certainly contributes to the progress of the therapy, by making yourself book the appointment, make the time, physically go, sit in a different, calming setting with no disturbances. But the main aspect of the therapy is the voice, the talks, the message conveyed.
With this in mind, South Downs Hypnotherapy have now moved all their appointments online, operated through Zoom, whether for one or several sessions, with more flexibility in the time choices as we will happily work evening and weekends, to suit everyone’s timetables.
The move of the workshops online over the past few weeks has certainly showed us that, even though very different, most people found them more personal and relaxing. Since they are in a familiar place, the relaxation is more natural and the clients will be more inclined to let themselves go into that relaxation more easily and eagerly, without their subconscious mind constantly scanning for the danger of unknown territory.
With that in mind, South Downs Hypnotherapy also understand that there is a financial struggle in those uncertain times and will offer 25% off every consultation booked during the lockdown, even if the follow on sessions happen once the country has re-opened, as a thank you for hanging in there, knowing that your mental health is the most important part of you, and making sure that we can help you through these challenging times.
